Is there a way to add the next dividend pay date as a selectable column for customizing the view in the Investing/Portfolio tab?

As far as I know neither the Ex-Dividend date or the dividend Pay Date are available columns in the Portfolio View.

You can establish Reminders for dividends and set these Reminders to be posted to the Transaction List X number of days before the dividend pay date, then "fine tune" the entry for the inevitable changes in payment dates and dollar amounts.

I reinvest most of my dividends except for a handful of stocks where I take the dividend in cash, so for those cash dividends I do "future post" those dividends using the pay date and the current dividend when the company announces that information. I typically enter "PROJECTED!!!!!!!!!!!" in the memo field for these future posted dividends as sometimes the actual dollar amount isn't known (to me) until the dividend is paid. When the dividend is downloaded into the Transaction List - almost always as "Match" or "Near Match" I erase that "PROJECTED!!!!!!!!!!!" in the memo field and accept the transaction.

That would be a good data point to have, but unfortunately it appears that the Pay dates are not included in the downloaded quote data. Quicken would need to have their quote provider include that data.

Ex-dividend date is available. I have added it already. I would prefer the pay date which I can’t find.

One thing - the ex-dividend date is actually available but it is called Dividend Date

I do something similar to Tom Young. I enter reminders for dividends but I always know the exact amounts before they are paid. I keep a spreadsheet where I do the projections but I update the reminder as each is declared. I also enter the shares, rate and ex-date in the memo field. I enter the reminder in the register when they are paid and then the downloaded transactions match those entries. It works perfectly for me.
