Freedom Credit Union Unable to update

Since October 1st, Quicken is unable to connect with Freedom Credit Union, Pennsylvania. I discovered this first on my Mac (which I use for banking).

An error results as follows:

Please try again later.

Care Code: FDP-530

Details:
CP_SCRIPT_ERROR
Error 530 SSL_HANDSHAKE_ERROR_530null

I have tried to install a clean version on my macbook, which didn't have quicken. Same error.

Lastly, attempting to get Quicken to work on a PC yields a CC-511 Error. Thus, it appears to be a problem that isn't local to my setup.

Help would be appreciated!

    Please refer to this error-specific support article for error FDP-530.

    As stated in the article, if the error persists for more than 24 hours, then you will need to contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance and possible escalation if they see fit.

    Same issue; CP_SCRIPT_ERROR

    Error 530 SSL_HANDSHAKE_ERROR_530null

    I raised "11309536" and received email from Quicken,

    which indicate this is "…. a widespread known issue. Unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated time for resolution, but we are working toward a resolution. "

    Just as an additional update to all who are following - > This is ongoing as of 7:00 EST on October 7, 2024. I have reproduced this on a separate Macbook, clean install of Quicken and attempt to add to a new file access to Freedom Credit Union. Same error. Also, in a virtual sandboxed environment, on both a virtual windows environment and on my PC, cc-511 occurs. This has been ongoing for 1 week now. I have contacted Freedom directly to advise them of the problem and am awaiting a response from them as well

    Freedom Credit union just posted this "Good morning, 

    We have an open ticket with our vendor about the connection failure. As soon as we have more information we will follow up on this same message thread. Please let us know if you have any questions.

    As of today→Good morning, 

    Our vendor still has an open ticket with Intuit. We have not received a response as of yet. We will continue to monitor the ticket. In the meantime you can also reach out to Quicken/Intuit and let them know that we are aware and if they have an ETA. Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Update today in email - just sharing for those also with this issue:

    Your Quicken Online Banking case was escalated because you were receiving errors with your Express Web Connect (Quicken Windows) or Quicken Connect (Quicken Mac) online-activated account(s) at Freedom Credit Union.

     

    Our service provider's Scripts Operations engineers have researched this issue and confirmed Freedom Credit Union is currently blocking our traffic. 

     

    We are working with your Financial Institution to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. However, they have been unable to provide a date for when it will be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    As of 14 October 2024 I am still getting CC-511 error with Freedom. We are going on 2 weeks now. It seems that neither Freedom or Quicken care much about this.

    So….was excited that I could get everything working again. Sat down just now to do some banking/pay bills, etc. Once again - the error is back. Was working only briefly this am….
