Hello @Linda kOMKO,
To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When did this issue start? What happens when you try to update your accounts? Do you see any error messages/codes?
I look forward to your response!

The issue started about a week ago and I got an error code 503. Look up your fix and tried that so I deactivated the accounts and then tried to reactivate them but I got an error that your server is not talking to my bank. So now I can't do anything without the accounts being reactivated.

Thank you for your reply,
When I check on our end, I can see the most recent error message you received was a CC-502 error. Since there aren't any open alerts for that financial institution and it sounds like you're unable to reconnect the accounts, the next step, per this article on CC-502 errors, is to wait 24 hours and try again. If the issue persists after you've waited the 24 hours, then please contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.
I hope this helps!

I just read another discussion about a user having CC-503 error code problems and the surprising solution.
A call to Quicken Support and their review of the download log file(s) seems to have pointed to the real problem and a solution. I recommend you try that route once again, calling it in as a CC-503 error.1
