I am having the same problem. System freezes up and doesn't download. I've been having issues with the web connect for a while but was still able to download transactions. Now it is freezing up on the transaction download

    Hello @angih373@,

To clarify, when you say the system freezes, do you mean your entire computer freezes, or just the Quicken program? Is this happening during One Step Update, or do you update your accounts by downloading a file from your financial institution(s) and importing that file into Quicken? Which financial institution(s) is this happening with? When did you first notice this issue?

I look forward to your reply!

I've been having the same issue since the last couple updates. The program freezes during one step update and has to be closed through task manager. this has been going on through the last few updates.

    Hello @rjyusmc2005,

To troubleshoot this, since you mentioned it started a few updates ago, I suggest that you try validating and/or super validating your data file.  Please save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    Validate:

    1. File
    2. Validate and Repair File...
    3. Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

If the issue persists, proceed to Super Validate. If the issue is resolved after performing validation, then please disregard the instructions to Super Validate.

    Super Validate:

    1. File
    2. Hold CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
    3. Super Validate File
    4. Click OK
    5. Close the Data Log
    6. Close Quicken (leave it closed for at least 5 secs)
    7. Reopen Quicken and see if the issue persists.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Hello @angih373@ and @rjyusmc2005,

I haven't heard from either of you in a while. Do you still need assistance?

    Thank you!
