OSU Quit Working - Talked to tech support impersonator who demanded a ridiculous amount of $ [Edit]
the onestep update quit working after the citibank issue. After I was able to update citibank my entire onestep quit. I tried several times to fix it, but had to call Quicken customer service. I shared my desktop with the quicken tech and he told me there were lots of errors in my history file. He gave me 2 choices to have it repaired: one cost $499 the other $599!! Seriously??? I asked for his supervisor but was told I'd get the same answer. I told him, NO WAY am i paying that! So, i uninstalled the entire program; then reinstalled it and now it is working! That was all the tech had to tell me - but instead he tried to rip me off! thanks alot for nothing Quicken Help Desk!!!

Where did you get the number for Quicken customer service? There are a bunch of scammers out there claiming to be Quicken support who are just looking to rip you off, it sounds like you called one of them & not the real Quicken support.

Hello @1lauriekm,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Support is included with your Quicken subscription. If you spoke to someone who was demanding extra money for help, then you were not talking to the real Quicken Support.
Please email all details you have on this to spoof@quicken.com so it can be forwarded to the proper channels and further investigated.
Quicken Support's contact information can be found at this link. Phone support is available Monday - Friday, 5am - 5pm PT. Chat support is available 7 days a week, 5am - 5pm PT.
Thank you!
Quicken Kristina
