American Express Savings Bank

Hi there

My wife and I each have a savings account with this bank. My account will download transactions. My wife's won't download transactions and I'm done with entering transactions manually. Anyone have an idea what's going on? The only difference I can see is that my account has the institution listed as "American Express - Banking" and my wife's as "zzz-American Express Bank WC"

Anyone have any thoughts?

    Hello @niven,

    When a financial institution instance shows "zzz" in its name, it means that particular instance is no longer supported which is likely why that account is no longer connecting.

    To start with, could you please try deactivating your wife's account(s) and then reactivating through Add Account (not through Set Up Now)?

    Please, follow the steps found in this support article to deactivate. Once deactivated, to reactivate through Add Account, navigate to Tools > Add Account..., search for "American Express - Banking" name and follow the prompts to connect. Once your account(s) have been found, be sure to link them to the existing account(s) you have already set up in Quicken.

    HI Anja - thanks. I tied to do this before and just tried it again. It gives a CC-502 error code. Anyhting else we could try?
