I am using an up to date Windows version of Quicken Home, Business & Rental Property (R59.10).
Suppose I do Reports --> Tax --> Tax Schedule,
In the generated report, in Schedule B, Dividend income, I am now finding to my horror that Quicken is generating 2 rows for every ReinvDiv transaction.
The first row has values for all the columns (Date, Account, Num, Description, Memo, Category, Tag, Clr, Amount).
The second row is MISSING values for the first 4 columns (Date, Account, Num, Description) but does have values for all remaining columns (Memo, Category, Tag, Clr, Amount).
In the screenshot that I am uploading, notice how the highlighted row whose Amount is 14.52 is followed by another row with the first 4 columns empty but the remaining columns the same, including the Amount.
This row doubling effect only seems to happen for ReinvDiv transactions. I have a few Div transactions, and they have just a single row as expected.
This row doubling defect persists when I Export the Report in text format (since I subsequently need to open it in a spreadsheet).
This is surely a BUG introduced by Quicken in the last year: I am generating this Report as part of finishing my tax return, and I know that it did not happen last year, because I can see last year's Export and it is fine (no doubled rows).
I tried to Customize the Report, to see if there was an option that would suppress the row doubling, but I failed.
I am grateful for any suggestions.
Quicken: are you aware of this BUG?
