Strange one time code

When I try to add Bask Bank to Quicken I receive the following unexpected text message: "Do not share this code with anyone. We will never ask for it over the phone or by text. This is your Intuit EWC One Time Password: nnnnnnnn." It is strange that I never received a prompt to request the EWC password or any means to enter it in in Quicken.

I receive the above text when Bask Bank asks me where to send its one time code after providing my userid and password. It is also followed by the expected one time code from Bask Bank which I did request.

Why am I getting a EWC One Time Password and what do I do with it?

Thank you

I found that if I provided the EWC Password code instead of the one sent to me by Bask Bank that it works(???????)

    Hello @H.Richburg,

Thank you for coming back to update us. I am happy to hear that you were able to access your accounts.

Did you receive both codes from the same phone number? Are you aware of any recent changes with Bask Bank? Have you reached out to Bask Bank yet?

    Let me know!

@Quicken Jasmine No rhe notifications came from different numbers. In addition the code from Bask Bank was 6 digits and EWC code was 8. No I am not aware of any changes at Bask Bank. Since I got it working I didn’t reach out to Bask.
