New Categories Not Seen in Reports and Other Weird Things

I have been doing some clean up and adding some categories and strange things are happening.

Version 7.9.1 (Build 709.54540.100), macOS 15.0.1

1. I mentioned this in another post but deleting a category causes a MESS. It causes a "(QCS-0500) An internal problem has occurred…" that requires restoring from a previous back up to fix and to re-sync with the Quicken cloud. This is annoying as heck because even if an unwanted category is hidden, they will be in the list of categories you have to select/deselect from when setting up a report.

2. The next thing I've found is that I can add new categories but they will not be seen in reports even when it appears they are selected for that report. You can't add them to a current report nor can you get them in a clean/new report.

3. I have a couple older categories that I can see in the category selection process of a report but when selected are not in the report. I'm not aware of when this problem may have occurred.

    Hello @athuddriver and @mtmurdock,
