Quicken Classic Business & Personal Version R59.10 Build 27.1.59.10, OS Windows 11
@Quicken Kristina perhaps you can help answer this…
Backup and restore worked fine before; each Quicken file backed up to its own backup directory.
It appears that Quicken has changed the Local Backup – Automatic local backups feature from a per Quicken file backup directory to only one backup directory for all Quicken files.
All my Quicken files started backing up to the last backup directory used before this change occurred.
If I try to change the backup directory for the Quicken file currently in use to its correct backup directory, all subsequent backups of other Quicken files are saved to this same directory.
Now, for my use case and work flow, I have to turn off automatic backups and manually back up to the correct backup directory for the Quicken file in use before closing the file.
This isn't ideal; why break something that has worked correctly forever? Could it be a feature/bug coinciding with the Online Backup changes? Note: I do not use Online Backup.
Anyone else seeing this behavior?
