Got emails from quicken demanding i change update method. OK. When i go to do so the Citibank authorization page just spins and never fully loads. This has happened repeatedly over two days. Any ideas for a fix?
the citibank webpage that hangs has url

Hello @hneuwirth,
Based on your description of the issue, this is most likely one of 2 things:
To troubleshoot this issue, first, please try pausing all of your browser extensions prior to going through the authorization process with Citi. If the issue persists, try temporarily setting a different default browser. If you use an antivirus that has a Safe Banking feature, you will want to pause that feature, since it would be pulling all banking sessions to a customized browser.
If the troubleshooting above does not work, you may want to contact Citi for further assistance.
I hope this helps!
Try having Quicken use another browser by changing your default browser to something else. I.e., I had to use Firefox instead of Edge or Chrome to get Citicard/bank to complete the handshake and re-direction. In another thread here, a user used Chrome successfully. And, yet, another finally got Edge to work.
I haven't heard from you in a while. Do you still need assistance?
Thank you!
Sorry for not getting back more promptly!
The problem was with Chrome. I cleared the cache, turned off the various add-ons and was able to connect via Quicken. Thanks for your assistance
Thank you for the follow-up,
I'm glad to hear the issue is resolved!
If you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out!
