Quicken removes all money market shares

Every time my money market account pays a monthly dividend and I download that transaction to Quicken, Quicken removes ALL my money market shares and tries to turn them into cash. I then have to go back into Quicken, delete the removal transaction and reenter my money market shares. This is a feature. It happens every time I do the One Step update. What is going on?

Hello @Hilly,

The most likely explanation for the behavior you are seeing is if you chose the option to track as cash when you first connected the account in your Quicken file. Please see this help article's "If you set up your investment account for transaction download" section for more details: How do I track the performance of cash in an investment account?
