Any word on Northwestern Mutual Investment Services

I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but Northwestern Mutual was promising to have their connection running again by "the end of October." Anybody heard any advance on the status of the project?

    Writing as of 9:24 am EDT October 31, 2024 - still no change from what I can see. The day is young, but 'the end of October' is pretty much upon us.

    Yeah and amen, folks. It's working.

    Once logged into Northwestern, go to the profile settings and approve the Quicken connection. Then go to Quicken and set up the account downloads. All should be well.

    Hello all…

    Still can't update my NMIS accounts and I'm not getting a place to approve the Quicken connection on my profile settings page. Thoughts??

    I have had a few transactions (Stock Splits) and transfer to my personal account from an IRA show up, but no other transactions since 7/22/24. I was told by someone at NM that NM can only download to the Desktop version of Quicken. I have Quicken Classic Deluxe so I assume that is the desktop version which also syncs with my mobile apps on my Ipad and Iphone. I also don't have a place to approve a Quicken Connection. Not sure if that might be in the Mobile App for NM, but I don't think so. I was told to contact Quicken Support. Didn't find help here yet, if anyone has figured it out, please advise.

    Following up: in the message that connecting to NWM is not successful there is a link to NWM. Also received email and follwoing istructions I did connect and could reactivate connections (which are now updating, although takes loooong time. hope it works.)

    Additional information for the Nov 7 post from aspelbrink@gmail.com….

    Even after the fix made by NWM I was getting "an error occurred" message (in red) in Quicken' Update window when trying to download NWM transactions. I followed the link in his/her post to login to NWM. It took me to my "Profile" page. Once there I scrolled to the section, "Approved Quicken Device Registrations" where, on the "Quicken for Windows" row, there was a checkmark under the "Action" column. I clicked on it to authorize the connection to Quicken. Now back in Quicken I ran Update again and all transactions from all of my NWM accounts downloaded successfully.
