How did you close out those txn, in Q? Proper procedure would be to SELL for the amount received, which would turn them into closed positions.

In QWin (and I believe QMac) there's an option to Not Show closed positions.

Thanks. I "sell bonds" and it zero's it out, just doesn't remove it from the Dashboard. I haven't been able to find "NOT SHOW" closed positions in QMAC. I'll keep looking.

In your screen shot, you're not showing the column headings from the Dashboard. Are they Security, Shares, Price, Value, Change, and Change $?

If so, it's showing that Quicken thinks you still have the shares, with a price and value of zero.

Do you see the same thing (share but no market value) in the Portfolio, if you set the filters to Portfolio Value and By Security?

If you go back in time to the date you sold the bonds and add a Remove Shares transaction for the number of shares it says you have, does that clear it up and remove it from your Portfolio and Dahsboard?

In case somebody else has the same problem … would you mind telling us what you had to do to solve the problem?
