CC-885 error when downloading Amex Savings account via web connect
For last couple of weeks, I no longer able to download transactions from Amex Savings account. I get CC-885 error. Why?
It's not like file is bad, changing FID to 3101 works, as always. So this problem is on Quicken end, man made.

American Express - Banking is no longer available to download transactions from and has been removed from the list of supported banks (aka Fidir file).
Use American Express as the Financial Institution Name instead. This will allow you to download all your AmEx credit card accounts and Savings or other American Express National Bank accounts. To make the change in your Quicken I recommend you do this:
- Deactivate all AmEx credit card accounts and your Savings account.
- Create a backup of your Quicken data file
- Close and restart Quicken
- Use the Tools / Add Account process (or click the "+" button in the Account Sidebar Title line) to add your AmEx accounts again, selecting American Express as the bank name. Follow the instructions to enter logon ID and password and answer all other questions at the AmEx website.
- When you get to the list of accounts found at the bank carefully review the list. For each account be sure to select the correct Quicken account register to LINK to. If you don't do this correctly, you won't like the results …
