I tried this on two different accounts, mine and another person's who has an Amex account. CC-501, it says it's a Quicken server error.

I have the same. Amex has not been the most stable with Quicken in recent months. Usally corrects itself. And still early in California. My bet it will be OK in 5 hours :) 1PM EST - 11AM PST

Also cannot connect to AMEX this AM. Browser sign in says Quicken server error.

I received the same error just now. I retried once and failed again.

I logged into the failing account and dismissed an ad pop-up for another card offer.

Then I tried again. This time it worked. Don't know if the pop-up was to blame, but you could give it a try.

Seeing CC-501 as well. Had CC-502 yesterday, but resolved by trying again. Not so lucky today.

7:50 CST. Mine worked now - I also had to dismiss a pop-up on the AmEx website…

I got the same error. When I clicked on "1 account", I got the following message.

I logged onto AMEX and verified I have no new transactions since I did an OSU yesterday.

I run Quicken several times a day and OSU, at least once a day to ensure I have all updates. The infamous CC-501 error does pop up occasionally, I just wait a few hours and try again. It generally goes through later.

So here it is about 20 minutes later. I ran OSU again and it connected successfully, "1 Account Updated" "0 new transactions".

Now working for me. New transactions downloaded.
