Frequent prompts for Quicken ID and password
The past few weeks I have been getting prompted frequently for my Quicken ID and password. Seems to happen when I click "Update Now" to download transactions, before I enter my vault password.
Previously I was RARELY prompted for my Quicken ID/pw.
Anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it. It's quite annoying.

If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.
- Navigate to Edit
- Preferences...
- Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
- Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID)
- Follow the prompts to Sign Out
- Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password (this screen is not a pop-up box)
Keep in mind that the sign-in pop-up dialog may continuously keep popping back up throughout this process, in which case you will need to continue closing it each time it pops up until you reach the full sign-in screen.

Ok thanks, I have gone through those steps. I did another "Update Now" and was not prompted for my Quicken ID/pw (great!) but it was not 100% consistent before. I'll monitor over the next several days and report back if the intermittent problem returns.

The problem is better, but I was still prompted for Quicken ID/pw 2 or 3 times the past few weeks.
How often should Quicken be re-prompting for this?
