CITI bank and CITI PWM account update download and reset

For the last two days I have been unable to update my accounts in Quicken Classic from Citibank.

My brokerage accounts, one is no longer connected and the other generates an error code OL-306-A. Tried to reconnect to the bank no success.

Bank accounts appear and disappear on the update. They generate an error code CC-501.

Tried resetting the accounts, remove the last Windows 11 update, disconnect VPN, create a new Quicken layout (only the bank accounts appear, not the brokerage).

Any ideas? Thanks.

    Hello @MEJ,

The error OL-306 is usually caused by one of the following:

    • An incorrect account type that does not support automatic account information (that is, you may have selected a savings account type for a checking account).
    • Your account has been closed.
    • The account has not been authorized for downloading.

    To resolve this issue:

    • Update Quicken to the latest release.
    • Deactivate / Reactivate the account, then complete a One Step Update.

If you continue to experience an issue, the account could either be closed or it has not been authorized for downloading.  In either case, you will want to contact your financial institution to resolve this issue.

As for error CC-501— Typically these errors self-resolve within 24 hours. If you haven't already, we recommend reviewing this support article for more information.

As stated in the article, if the error persists for more than 24 hours, then you will need to contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance. Our support agents will need to collect and review your log files, and will likely need to file an escalation if they see fit.

Customer Support Team phone hours of operation are 5 am - 5 pm PDT Monday-Friday.

  • I was getting the same error OL-306-A since Nov-12 when trying to connect with Citi PWM.

I did try deactivating and reactivating and now getting the following error on the activation page: Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault).

I checked the account online and login works as usual, the account is not closed, nothing was changed on it. I called Citi PWM and they couldn't see any problem with my account.

Also would appreciate any suggestions to fix it
