Internet connection
About a week ago Quicken suddenly started to have connection issues off and on with the internet.
The issues:
OSU starts and all the Direct Connect accounts within a second show errors. When looking at the Update Summary the accounts that did not connect say no internet is available. All the Express Web Connect accounts update without problem. Going to the Online Center and updating each individual account from there they connect and download.
Going to Help and Release Notes It’s blank. See attached screen shot.
Going to the Check for Updates a pop-up box says no internet is available. See attached screen shot.
Going to Quotes and clicking the Quotes the progress box opens for a second and then closes without updating stock prices.
No problem with other programs on the computer connecting to the internet.
Upgraded yesterday from earlier version of Quicken and problem has continued in R59.18
Windows 10 Quicken R59.18

Hello @dnelson,
To start troubleshooting this issue, I recommend that you backup your Quicken file, then logout of Quicken and log back in again. To log out of Quicken, go to Edit>Preferences>Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts. Then, click on the blue Sign in as a different user link.
In the confirmation window that comes up, type "yes", then click the Sign Out button. Once Quicken finishes logging you out, it will bring you to a login screen. Login to Quicken and test to see if the issue is resolved.
Please let me know how it goes!

Tried what you suggested. First 3 attempts gave the attached error screen shot. Did final get in the Quicken ID and Cloud account then signed out and then sign back in successfully. Did a OSU, 2 of the 3 Direct connect account Failed to update. Received a OL297-A error and that has been the error that I have seen previously since this issue started. If didn't have internet, then why did the Web Connect update?

Thank you for your reply,
If you haven't already done so, I recommend following the troubleshooting in this article on OL-297 errors:
If that troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, then I'd recommend that you turn off any VPN you're using and try temporarily pausing any antivirus software or firewall you're using. They are the most likely culprits when something is interfering with Quicken's ability to communicate, even though your internet is otherwise working.
Please let me know how it goes!
