Mutual fund asset class allocation

The Quicken asset download class for Vanguard Target 2030 fund does not agree to what Vanguard reports. Quicken shows 10% in cash and Vanguard doesn't shpw any cash. I would imagine they may had a small cash position for operating but certainly not 10%. The US stock, international and bond amounts are all off about 3% as well.

I use Quicken to reblance my portfolio and an cooncerned after disovering this difference. Has anyone else noticed something similar? Is my best option just to not download asset classes and enter them manually?

Asset class definitions vary somewhat between data providers. For example the dividing line between large and small cap stocks varies.

II like to use Morningstar's definitions, and when Quicken's allocations differ from Morningstar's, I set them manually.

Well, I looked up VTHRX on Yahoo and it says that it holds 2.71% in cash. Quicken is dependent on whatever the quote service provides, so short of complaining about each fund to Quicken which would have to complain to their provider, and they would have to agree to change them (somehow), I think you might have to maintain them manually to get what you want. Or another possibility is to try using the MorningStar X-Ray Portfolio, which is available in Premier or above.
