eBill connection to Seattle Utilities

Have used Quicken eBill and payments for years with Seattle City Light/Public Utilities. Past two months it has stopped connecting. Why? And what do I do to make it work again?

Hello @Steven,
First, I suggest deleting and re-adding the ebiller. You can do so by navigating to Bills & Income > Three dots > Unlink ebill. You can then re-add the bill by navigating back through the same pathway and choosing Link ebill then proceeding to login using your normal information.
Let me know how it goes!

Yes, I have unlinked and re-linked several times. No change. Behavior suggests that the target site has added a layer of security and that the Quicken site is "unknown," so wants to verify my identity, but that request for a code, etc. is not passed back through Quicken to me. Or something like that. [If I use a new browser or a new IP address to connect to the site, it demands verification via a code that is texted to me and entered in a pop-up.]
As of last week, I am seeing similar behavior from the Nordstrom card account that is linked as an e-biller. I will add this as a separate issue, since there is a distinct error message from Quicken.
Wonder if this kind of connection problem will cascade through all my e-bill connections.
