Errors creeping in, Why?

Can someone explain why everything balances perfectly to paper copies one month, then days later, transactions are missing, duplicated, or wrong dates (especially year.)

Are you adding/deleting/changing the CLR value in any transaction?

Are you deleting one side of a Transfer (which will delete both sides)?

Are you using QWeb or QMobile (which can sometimes cause errors similar to what you're describing)?

Also, what Q Product, and what Release of that product, are you running? Do HELP, About Quicken for this info.

Also, make sure the account register is sorted correctly by date.

In addition, if you are Resetting Accounts, Deactivating/Reactivating and/or Reauthorizing connections, there is the possibility of two issues occurring:

    1. The Opening Balance transaction dollar amount sometimes gets changed. It is recommended to enter and save the correct Opening Balance dollar amount into the Memo field of that transaction….do this for all Spending accounts (checking, savings, credit card, etc.).
    2. Duplicate transactions will sometimes get entered into the account register. When this happens it usually occurs within the most recent 90 days time frame. The only solution to this is to delete those duplicate transactions when they do occur.
