Chase credit card transactions failing to download again

Starting a new Chase download issues thread since other thread got hijacked with a discussion from one person on balances not matching, which is not my issue.

I am getting issues with downloading Chase credit card transactions on both my wife's and my credit cards. This appears to have started on November 6 downloading almost no credit card transactions since then. I've had this problem with Chase in the past in May and it eventually went away after a few weeks. Much worse problem this time. Actually hung the Chrome browser trying to authenticate. I did all the steps with deactivating and resetting all Download options and account and bank information. In addition, I was forced to do a re-install of Chrome browser, tried changing default browser to Edge even. Sometimes one of the credit cards would download the correct transactions. De-activated and removed download information for all credit cards at least three times in Quicken. VERY highly experienced in this process over the years and it used to always fix things until 2024. I get no errors, it just doesn't download any transactions. Finally gave up and did QFX downloads direct from Chase since Nov 6 to overcome this issue.

Other banks are working fine.

I am using Quicken Premier with Windows 11 and Chrome browser for authentication to Chase.

    Hello @gbronc,

I know that you mentioned attempting some troubleshooting steps, however, I invite you to look over the instructions below to see if this could resolve the issue.

    1. Go to the account register you're having trouble with
    2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right
    3. Click Update Now
    4. Repeat this process for all of your Chase accounts

If that doesn't show new transactions in the register, then try this:

    1. Go to Tools > Account List
    2. Click Edit on your impacted Chase account
    3. On the Online Services tab, click Reset
    4. Follow any prompts to log in, if needed, and then update your accounts again

Finally, if the above steps aren't helpful, you can refresh your financial institution information in Quicken:

    1. Choose Tools menu > Online Center.
    2. Select the financial institution you want to update from the Financial Institution drop-down menu.
    3. While pressing CTRL+F3 on your keyboard, click Contact info at the top of the screen. You must do all three at the same time.
    4. Select the financial institution you want to update, and click Refresh. The branding and profile information will be listed under current status as needs updating.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Update/Send, enter your financial institution Password, and select OK. Follow any additional instructions.

Let me know how it goes!

Three-decade Quicken user here. I had the Chase issue listed above. Tried the three procedures described without successful outcome. In the end resorted to entering the missing transactions manually. Hoping that it won't happen again.

I did all the steps above repeatedly and nothing solved it. It appears to have resolved itself in the last few days. Not sure if the QFX download triggered it to fix itself or just time for Quicken or Chase to fix somehow.
