reminders

One of my credit card's monthly reminder is at the BOTTOM of the cc transactions, but it's a reminder for the 20th of this month. It's confusing because it changes my cc balance and I think the account isn't balanced, but it is if I delete the reminder. But, I need the reminder

It might have something to do with the new pending transaction download setting. Try turning that off if it's on.
    (Edit>Preferences>Pending Transactions)

There's also a setting for the Accounts list that controls this. On the upper left on the green bar (for quicken windows), click the settings snowflake, at the bottom of the menu, make sure "Show Current Balance in Account Bar" is checked (and NOT "Show Ending Balance in Account Bar")

@Geobrick This is a Quicken Mac thread, and Quicken Mac does not yet have the ability to turn on/off pending transactions. I assume it's coming at some point, once they have it working cleanly in Quicken Windows.

When you say the reminder is changing your credit card balance, do you mean in the sidebar? If so, you can change the sidebar settings to show today's balances, or if the account is connected for online access you can also show the online balances - either of these will exclude future transactions from the sidebar account totals. Just click on the circle with three dots at the top of the sidebar and select the appropriate "Show" option. This setting applies to all accounts, so you can't have some showing today's balance and others showing projected balances.
