duplicate transaction?
I often transfer funds from one account to the other and download the information from both accounts into quicken. whenever I do so, quicken deletes the input of the data from the first account. this is most frustrating.

Hello @dalecj,
To assist with this issue, please provide more information. It sounds like this is happening when the information downloads into your Quicken, rather than happening with transactions you manually entered. Is that correct? Are these transfers happening within the same financial institution, or are you sending money between accounts with different financial institutions? Which financial institution(s) is this happening with? When did you first notice this behavior? Is there any gap between when the transactions post in the accounts? If so, how long is the gap?
I look forward to your reply!

Thank you for your reply,
If these accounts are with the same financial institution, are they downloading into Quicken as posted at the same time, or is there a gap (for instance, it shows posted in savings one day, then the next day the posted transaction for checking downloads)? When did you first notice this behavior?
Thank you!

More information is required here…
- are you manually entering one or two transactions before downloading?
- If you manually enter a transaction, do you enter it as a Transfer transaction?
- when method (Web Connect OR Express Web Connect) are you using for download?
It would also be helpful to provide screenshots of the before and after states of the transactions, i.e. before and after download.
Without the additional information, we are left guessing as to the specifics of the situation…
