Adding new business(s), and editing existing (two methods; one doesn't work) (Q Mac)

In Learning Center, I choose Manage Business, and go to the second window.

"1 Add your business details. From the Dashboard, modify the default business "My Business (Schedule C)", or add a business."

In the Business dashboard, the graphic (see my first screen shot) shows a drop down window with "My Business", and with two drop down choices: "Add New Business…" and "Edit Business > My Business".

When I try that, "My Business default" shows on the drop down menu, but neither of the two options shown in the Learning Center graphic are available; in fact, no options are displayed. See my second screen shot.

I asked Quicken help, via chat, and was told to choose the drop down in the far upper right of the Dashboard. When I do that, the choices I am told are available in Learning Center are displayed in this 'alternative' method, and do work there.

I was glad to learn of that method, but when I explained the Learning Center help shows a method that does not work on my system, the chat agent simply sent the same screen shot of the second method two more times, even though I asked the agent if my installation was corrupt, or if the Learning Center is showing incorrect information. I never got an answer. I'm looking for that answer here.

macOS 14.7

Quicken Classic Business & Personal Version 7.10.1 (Build 710.55389.100)

Thanks in advance.

I see the same; the help file (Learning Center) is out of date.

I'll report it as a bug.

It's basically what I originally posted, but specficially:

    Quicken: Help > Learning Center

    Click: Manage Business

Click: Next, to go to the second (of three) screens.

Try to replicate step "1 Add your business details From the business dashboard, modify the default "My Business" (schedule C), or add a new business" … by clicking on: "My Business" on the pop up menu.

Instead of seeing "Add New Business… and "Edit Business > My Business" … the pop up menu doesn't expose those choices.

I also did Report a problem, and uploaded the two snapshots.

Note: I created this comment some minutes ago, posted it, edited it twice, then the third time I tried to edit, errors in the bottom left of the web page showed (something about not having permission, I think), and my comment vanished. Even after refreshing the web page, my comment was still not visible. However I see that you saw my post. This error happens a lot, since long ago, when trying to edit a post mere minutes after posting it. It would be useful to have that error fixed. Based on prior experience, this comment and the original may show up. If so, fee free to delete this one.

Sounds good. I can edit business info and add new business(es) using what is apparently the new method, so it's no longer causing me a big problem.
