Pending credit card transactions are not (always) deleted even if charge has occurred & accepted
Using QFW R60.15 on Win 11.
I set the option to view the pending transactions when I d/l them to my QFW credit card accounts. The panel shows "Downloaded Transactions", "Bill and Income Reminders", and "Pending Transactions" below the register.
But I have quite a few transactions in this Pending list that I already have downloaded and accepted as reconciled/cleared weeks ago. But they didn't get deleted from the pending list. They're duplicates in the sense they are already cleared in the register but still remain in the pending list. For example, a AMAZON charge I made on 12/1 that was downloaded and cleared in my register on 12/2 still is in the PENDING TRANSACTION list 2 weeks later.
So up to now, I've simply been manually deleting them via the DELETE button....shouldn't they be automatically discarded either Q 'understands' they have been accounted for as an accepted transaction (and yes, the dollar value are the same, this is not the case of a changed value after the initial card has been processed such as an added manual tip after the card has been run.)
I would have expected them to go away as soon as they are accepted into my register when doing the OSU into the charge account.
Or is it that some of them well never match up, and we need to simply manually delete the transactions.

Just so you know. Yes, they should be deleted, but you aren't the only one that has seen this. I have seen it too. And if I remember correctly, it is one of the reasons I stopped using the feature that shows pending transactions.

To assist with this issue, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Which financial institution(s) is this happening with? Is this happening with all of your pending transactions, or just some? Was there anything that seemed to trigger this behavior, such as deactivating and reconnecting the account(s)?
So that we can further investigate this issue, please navigate to Help > Report a problem and submit a problem report with log files attached, at least 3 samples of pending transactions that are also in the register as cleared, a screenshot showing the problem transactions and showing they're also in the register as cleared, and (if you are willing) a sanitized copy of your data file in order to contribute to the investigation.
While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

Thanks. I think the ones in question have been automatically deleted... After a few days/week after being accepted. Maybe Chase VISA doesn't delete them from their system in a timely fashion?
... I'll report back if this is not the case.

Are you downloading transaction every day? Or only once every few days?

Oh, every day. Since I posed that question, most (but not all) of the pending transactions have 'disappeared' from the pending list. The only one that is still there is an Amazon charge that is dated 11/30 that already has been downloaded from my VISA and cleared for the exact amount on 12/3.
I was planning to give that another week or so, and if still not removed by Q, I'll delete it manually. This doesn't seem to happen as much as I thought if one gives it some time.
