Quicken crashes on account download of entries
Quicken Classic Deluxe crashes on every attempted download of entries from a bank account and three credit cards. Quicken shows that the data has arrived to the account and then crashes. Quicken does not require a system restart. When Quicken launches the account can be updated.
I have performed the validate and repair option (also super) no errors reported.

I am running Quicken Classic Premier and the downloads for many providers are using Quicken Classic connection and it seems to fail every time locking up my Quicken and requiring me to "end task". When performing a validate and repair, my file is also clean. Are your credit cards also using Quicken Classic connection?

I use only the manual connection to the accounts. Login into the account and download the Quicken file. The file appears with the icon beside the account, then Quicken crashes.

The next troubleshooting step I would try is to Reset the troublesome accounts.

Also try logging out of your Q account and log back in.

Hello @ike49,
To assist with this issue, please provide more information. When did this issue with Quicken crashing first start? Does it happen only when you're trying to update your accounts by manually importing files from your financial institution? Do you keep your Quicken file directly on your local hard drive? Is the file synced with any cloud service, such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox?
To start troubleshooting the issue, in case it's being caused by an update that didn't install correctly, please try manually installing the most recent update. To do that, please follow the directions in the article linked below:
I look forward to your response!
Quicken Kristina
