Tax planner year selection problem
When I try to choose 2024 in the year drop-down for Tax Planning, it will not allow the choice. Instead, QW Premier will only allow 2023, which is the only other choice, and is the default. This is addressed in the Tx Planner Options window….How can I change that?
This appeared to be answered in a prior post by updating to the latest version. I am running what quicken tells me is the latest version r 52.33, build 27.1.52.22, but I still have the problem.

The current version is 60.15. Assuming you have a valid subscription, use the patch in the link below to update to the current version.

@jjanofsky R52.33 is ancient, apparently from November 2023. You need a much more recent version for the Tax Planner to include 2024 or beyond.
BUT, the Tax Reports for 2024 will still work in R52.33.
And, given that your Q is so old I suspect that your subscription might have lapsed, which is why you're not getting product updates. The other possibility, of course, is that your subscription is current and you've been offered updates but have declined to install them

@jjanofsky - Your profile shows you are running Quicken Subscription.
If your subscription has expired, then in order to update your Quicken installation to the current version so you can use the Tax Planner for 2024 you will need to first renew your subscription.
If your subscription has not expired and is current, then you can go to
. From there you can download and install the Manual Patch Update file that will update you to the current R60.15 version. Then you will be able to use the Tax Planner for 2024….and in a few more days you should be able to start using the Tax Planner and Tax Reports for 2025, as well.Quicken Classic Premier (US) Subscription: R60.15 on Windows 11 Home
