Starting New File and Linking Accounts - Can I limit dates for account data

My admin assistant originally set up Quicken years ago for multiple accounts and companies. She has since retired, entities have changed or closed, and she was not the most proficient so not set up in the most effective way. I would like to start fresh. I understand I can start with a new file on my same subscription, relink the appropriate accounts, etc. Can I set the dates for the data download from the linked accounts so only have the period in which I want the fresh start? Secondly, how can I let the Mobile and Web app know which file I only want to see? Thanks.

    Hello @mack4,

Unfortunately, there is no way to select certain dates for transactions that download automatically. The dated transactions that download are chosen by the financial institution and are usually about 90 days. However, you could navigate to your bank's website and create/download a QFX file for the specific dates that you are wanting to import.

As far as choosing the data file that you would like to show in your Quicken Mobile app, you can do so by clicking the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner > clicking the file name (see screenshot) > Choosing which file you would like > Done.

    I hope this helps!
