Express Web Connect+ API

Is the Express Web Connect+ (EWC+) an open standard? Could you point me to the application programmer's interface (API) specification?

What Quicken calls EWC+ is called FDX by the financial institutions. There is indeed an API available, but you might have to sign an NDA or might not qualify to see it at all. Assuming you can find it on the FDX web site. I have not yet been able to.

Why are you trying to re-invent the wheel?
If your FI (presumably, your employer) signs the contract with Intuit (Q's connection provider), Intuit will provide that.
And, if this isn't for your FI/employer, I decline to assist you in hacking the system.

So, you don't know if EWC+ is an open standard? What does it have to do with my employer?

When Quicken uses EWC+ with my FI, it willy-nilly drops transactions. I'd like to debug the issue. If I can probe the interface, it would determine if the issue was on the Quicken side or the FI side. I looked at the Quicken logs. They are incomplete. I only see the OFX log for the last account accessed.
This is a multi-year problem with Quicken and my FI. I tried Quicken many years ago. It dropped around 10% of my transactions across multiple accounts. I gave up and reverted to Microsoft Money 2004.
I had hoped that Quicken or my FI had debugged the issues in the last 5 years. They have not. The new version R60.20 build 27.1.60.20 also willy-nilly drops transactions. The issue persists with other users and the same FI. Over the course of a year, my son's Quicken deviated thousands of dollars from the truth at the FI.
I'm using a new high-end machine with a clean OS install, a new version of Quicken, and a new account. The initial download exactly matched the FI. A subsequent download 7 days later dropped posted transactions. I purged those accounts from Quicken and re-added them. The initial download exactly matches my FI. I suspect that Quicken/FI pair will drop future posted transactions within a week from today.

@Boatnmaniac answered the specific question. Do I need to start a new thread for debugging this interface?

@Rocket J Squirrel FDX claims that my specific financial institution uses FDX. It does seem like FDX is an open standard.
