Downloaded transactions overwrite Reminders with wrong category when merging
I have a bunch of reminders setup along with downloading transactions from my bank. I've noticed that when Quicken merges my reminder with the downloaded transaction, it uses the details of the downloaded transaction, overwriting my reminder's category with what it auto-updated the downloaded transaction to be, which is wrong. I then have to manually correct the category of the merged transaction which defeats the purpose of the reminder.
Is there a way to change this behavior? I have Quicken version R60.20 Build 27.1.60.20.

Hello @alan hartless,
I do apologize for the issue that you are experiencing.
When did you first notice this behavior? Is this new behavior? Or has it always worked that way? Do you have any memorized transactions or memorized payees that may be influencing Quicken's behavior?
Please let me know!

I'm new to Quicken Windows. I've been using Quicken Mac but found features lacking comparatively so just switched to using Quicken Windows via Parallels. It's been this way since I first started using the Windows version. On the Mac, I can choose which transaction wins out by dragging and dropping one transaction into the other which Quicken Windows doesn't support.
The downloaded transactions are automatically updated through a memorized transaction. Do I need to delete that for this to work as expected? I'll try that out.
