After Update I Have Flags but No Transactions
I found this topic from about three years back, but I found no resolution. Here's what's going on:
I do a One Step Update (or Update Now), and for some banking accounts I get a red flag beside the account. This indicates there are cleared transactions to "accept". When I click on that account to review the transactions, there are NONE to review. In fact, a few times the red flag just disappears before I can take action on the account. It happened today on three banking accounts (at two separate banks). In each case, when I checked online, there are PENDING transactions. In the past the only time I get the red flags is when the transactions have cleared … not when they're pending.
Can anyone tell me if this is a bug? Or is it some type of new "feature"?

Thanks Anja. I went through the entire process. I'm not sure whether or not it helped b/c I haven't completed another One Step Update where there were only pending transactions. I'll keep an eye on it.

This issue continues to be interesting. This morning, I did a OSU which included several accounts at Truist Online. At the end of the update, I noted two red flags beside two of the Truist accounts. Within seconds, the two flags disappeared! I went online to Truist and checked transactions in the two accounts, and they both had "Pending" transactions. It certainly appears that the flags come up briefly when there are Pending transactions, but then go away. They come back "normally" when the transactions are no longer pending, but are cleared.

Another little twist to the issue:
This morning I did a OSU which included three (3) accounts at Truist. After the update, two of those accounts had red flags. I clicked on the first account (checking), and there were no transactions at the bottom to clear, AND the flag "disappeared". The second flagged account had a couple of transactions to clear, and then all was well. After the Quicken update, I went online to my Truist checking account, and … sure enough … there is a "pending" transaction!
Seems that there is some type of irregularity between Quicken (Windows, R60.20) and Truist online when there are pending transactions. This is more likely to be a bug than some issue with my data file, IMHO.

Thank you for following up though I apologize for the peculiar issue you are experiencing.
Please navigate to Edit > Preferences > Pending Transactions, and double-check to make sure the Pending transaction toggle is set to OFF as shown below.

Thanks Anja. Interestingly, the setting for pending transactions was "ON". I say interesting b/c I didn't even know the setting was there, and I didn't turn it on. Also, I have not been seeing indications of pending transactions with any institution other than Truist. In any case, I turned the setting to "OFF". I'll come back to let you know if I continue to see the flag for pending issue.
