Can't get quicken to download 1 transaction

I have a deposit from the 27th of last month. It shows up on my bank as posted. Quicken will NOT download it. To get my account to reconcile I have to tell Quicken it has not cleared. I can't leave it in my register forever as uncleared. What do I do to make Quicken happy?

    First, could you please tell us the name of the financial institution you are experiencing this issue with? Also, do you use the last statement balance or the online balance to reconcile? What type of account is this happening in (i.e.: checking, savings, brokerage, credit card, etc)?

    Is it possible that this deposit was matched to a prior month's deposit transaction instead of last month?
    Of course, there are other possibilities why this transaction didn't post correctly.

    When manually reconciling your account to the 12/31/24 bank statement ending balance, since this deposit has cleared the bank, you can manually mark it as cleared prior to starting Reconcile or you can mark it manually in the Reconcile dialog so it's included in Reconcile and your balances will match.

    No it wasn't matched to any other transaction. It is the only transaction since I started using Quicken in 2009 that has that amount. If I manually mark it as cleared, the reconcile window says I am off by $1725.53. If I mark it as uncleared, my checkbook comes out balanced. I HAVE to leave it as uncleared. I have had Quicken download from the bank at least ten times since Christmas. The deposit in question is on the 27th of last month. Quicken downloaded transactions from before Christmas and after Christmas.

    OOPS, I'm sorry. My financial institution is USAA. They do have a quirk with their Checking which might be related to this, When it sends me my checking info, the online balance has the pending transactions deducted, but since they aren't technically cleared, they don't get downloaded to Quicken. I have to go to USAA's website and mark as cleared in Quicken all transactions USAA has marked as pending to balance my account. Then, when done, I must change those transactions from Reconciled to cleared.
