Check Pay

I used to pay by check using the online payee list. Just entered the check and it would be sent to my bank. Now I see "Check Pay" with a separate list of payees. Do I need to use Check Pay to send checks now, and where can I see my list of Check Pay payees?

    Hello @Paul Nocero,

To see your CheckPay payees in Quicken, navigate to the "Tools" menu and then select "Online Payee List"; this will display a list of all your online payees, including those set up for CheckPay payments. I have also located a Support Article that discusses Check Pay, Quick Pay, and Quicken Bill Manager further.

    I hope this helps!

Does your bank still support "Direct Connect" as a protocol option for downloading transactions?

If you were forced to reactivate or reauthorize your transaction downloading from the bank and are now connected using "Express Web Connect" (with or without a "+" suffix), the old Online Center with direct access to the bank's Online Bill Pay system is no longer available. In that case, Quick Pay or Check Pay may be your only alternative.
Go into the Bills & Income tab's Bills, Income & Transfers view to check if Quick Pay and Check Pay through your bank's checking account is enabled. Click the Settings gear icon and select "Payment Accounts". Look thru the list for your checking account and see if you have checkmarks for both "Enabled for Quick Pay / Check Pay" options. If not, click to enable the options.

Note: You only have a limited number of free Quick Pay and Check Pay transactions per month.
