An option to combine the bills and income & transfers in a single screen would be useful.

The issue that arises from the current approach is that when paying a credit card bill from a checking account this is considered a "transfer" so it does not appear on the bill screen.

This feature already exists.
Go into Edit / Preferences / Navigation. Click to put a checkmark on the item "Combine Bills, Income & Transfers".

The same option is also available from the Settings gear icon while working with the Bills & Income view

I went ahead and marked your Idea post as Already Offered as this feature does already exist.

To change the view to have Bills, Income, and Transfers combined in the Bills & Income screen, navigate to the Gear icon located on the top right, and select Combine Bills, Income & Transfers.
