Last Update Does NOT Allow Transaction Upload and Can Not Add Other Accounts For USAA

Well, another update to the program and a repeat problem. Again after doing the update for the program, you can not set up to download transactions nor update your USAA account. Deleted the program on the computer to be sure that all updates were included. Loaded last data file. Tried again and failed again. Tried editing the account in account list and it did not allow you edit nor have the transactions downloaded from USAA. USAA said it was a Quicken problem.

Either Quicken or USAA seem to have a problem this morning. I just did an OSU and got a Quicken CC-506 error. Had to "reauthorize" my access. After that it worked fine.

The CC-506 (and other errors) are popping up with some regularity. Here's an ongoing thread on this specific issue.

Normally, when I get connection errors, I just wait and try again later. Sometimes it's a few hours, sometimes the next day.

Thanks for the response. However, I waited several hours, several days, deleted the Quicken on my computer and reloaded. Then loaded the backup file, tried to reload by going to Online Services and Setup Now. Still can not get Quicken to match or allow download after doing these steps. Only allowed to download one account. Same problem different date.

    Hello @Consultancy,

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, though we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

I checked internally to see if you were receiving any error codes, but do not see any. Can you please elaborate and tell us exactly what happens when you try to connect? Do you see any specific error code(s) and/or message(s) while trying to connect?

It may also be helpful to provide screenshots of what you are seeing. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Thank you!

It only allows me to sign into one of the bank accounts. It does not allow me to sign in to get the credit card and other bank account information to download.

I do not receive an error message. It only loads one account that it allows me to access.

I now remember what USAA requires and what was in the previous version before the latest update. You have to provide either your PIN and/or number sent to you on your phone or email to get access to your account. This latest version of Quicken does NOT provide this and hence USAA advised that you can not access the remaining accounts. Please make the correction so that I can get access to all the accounts.

The previous version of Quicken required to enter your PIN and/or code sent to you. However this latest version does NOT have that set up and hence USAA declines access.

Quicken missed it again and we had to do their research on how to access an account and advise them accordingly.

Best bet is to open a Support Call directly with Quicken.

As far as the login, it was USAA that changed their authentication. I remember going to the USAA page to get the "unique" Quicken PIN and going back to Q to enter as a password. That was quite a while ago. Since then USAA went EWC+ and dropped the ability to download Quicken format files.

Been a user/member of both Quicken (20+ years) and USAA (40+ years), too long to ditch either. (Q would go first) :)
