Account Bar Balances for some accounts do not match ledger balances

I see other post(s) related to this, but scrolling through length discussion doesn't seem to provide an explanation or resolution. For multiple accounts, but not all, the balance at the bottom of the ledger is correct, but the balance on the account bar is very wrong. As a software professional, I cannot for the life of me understand why this is complicated. One is a simple cash account. Every panel associated with the account shows correct balance except the account bar. The other is an IRA Here the cash balance is wrong , but the total on the account bar is wronger.

The first thing i would check would be to see if the Accounts Bar is showing the current balance or the ending balance. The ending balance will include future-dated transactions while the current balance will not.
Click on the gear at the top right of the Accounts Bar and at the bottom, select Current Balance. This should match the Current Balance at the bottom of a banking account or the Total Market Value at the bottom of an investing account.
Does that fix it?

No. 2 accounts show balances on the account bar that are in no way related to the accurate value shown at the bottom of the account ledger.

I'm having the exact same problem with 2 offline accounts. I manually enter the transactions. I've been doing this for years and never had an issue. I'm updating my Quicken accounts today and 2 accounts have major discrepancies. One accounts is off by about $65,000 and the other is off by over $100,000. The balance in the register for each of these accounts is correct. I've tried Validating the accounts and Super-validating. Nothing helped. I saw one user rolled back his Quicken version. I would like to do that but do not know how.

I've started looking at Tiller with Google Sheets. I've used Quicken since it was DOS app, but the performance and cost just aren't what they used to be.

On a recent post they figured out it was a Savings Goal they had set up a long time ago and forgot about. UKR posted several things to check on this post
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

I have the same problem. I thought it may be related to the fact that I have AUD, GBP and USD accounts in the same Quicken File.
These are listed individually in the Account Balances sidebar with the native value, but this is converted to USD for the subtotals and totals.
These foreign accounts are shown in the Account Balances report as already converted to USD.
I thought this may lead to a small discrepancy. However, my difference is over USD 15K.
The culprit is a Charles Schwab (Shares) account, which for some reason is showing over double the value in the Account Balances report, to the actual accurate figure displayed in the Account Balances sidebar.

I just noticed that the Account Bar Ending and Current Balance do not match the Networth and Account Balances report for one account. All the other accounts match. Strange. In my case, the Networth and Account Balances reports show a $46.46 higher balance than the Account Bar's Ending and Current Balance (which are equal in value in this case) for one account only.
It appears the the Networth and Account Balances reports did not use the latest value for 2 securities and I can't get them to use the latest values. They are in a Fidelity account. The Quicken Account bar and account register match the Fidelity website. The Networth and Account Balances report do not match the Fidelity website.
I made sure all Investment Reminders had $0 value due to this bug:
