I had issues with online transactions. I looked around and found that the file was corrupted and damaged. I have been using Quicken and the same file since 1993. I have a lot of information that I would hate to lose if I cannot repair this file. Now, I can work around this issue by selecting “no” to the online submission. So, I will continue the use of the file until it become so corrupt that I cannot use it any longer.

Whether a data file can be repaired, and how it might be repaired depends on what the problem is. You need to specify what the actual problems you are having with the data file. Also, depending on when the damage actually happened and when you discovered it, restoring from a backup might be a better solution.

we tried restoring it from backup. Found out that most of the backups were also damaged.

@Simoman - No one here will be able to provide assistance that might repair your file if you do not describe what the issue is with the data file.

The issue is that the file shows a need to send out an online payment that does not exist.
