I schedule automated monthly deposits and payments in the checking account so I do not have to remember to enter them before downloading at the beginning of each month. Recently I have noticed that many (possibly most or all) of these transactions are duplicated in the register a month or two in advance of the schedule date. Sometimes this happens when I edit the scheduled transaction because the monthly payment or deposit has changed (at the beginning of a new year, for example) but some of these are fixed deposits that have never changed. I have right-clicked to delete the old transaction and sometimes Quicken asks if I want to delete the series of scheduled transactions but other times just the one transaction is deleted. It seems that in either case the duplicate returns the next month.
