comparison spending report with averages on Windows Quicken Deluxe

I would like to compare 2024 to the previous 3 years (2021 to 2023)

However, I can only compare last year (2024) to the last 3 years (2022 - 2024) which throws the averages off.

I've tried the custom dates but that only applies to the first time period with no option to customize the comparison dates.

Thanks

Frank

It does seem silly for the report to have that limitation. Being able to set a separate comparison range or set it to "Previous XXX" rather than "Last XXX" would make more sense.

In your case you could set the comparison range to Last 5 years then export the report to Excel and compute the 2021-23 average there.

That would be a great idea.

Since report allows for custom dates on the first option, why not have a custom date option for second (comparison) dates.
