Prime Visa only shows current balance in online bill

My prime Visa only shows the current balance in the online bill. The Minimum Payment due is not shown. I also have an interest saving balance, which is the same amount, that I see in my Chase Prime Visa account. This prevents me from using the minimum or interest saving balance as payment in Quicken. The actual bill is automatically paid, so this is not a payment problem for me, it's just that the actual payment is less than the scheduled payment in Quicken.

    Hello @Earl Zier,

It sounds like Quicken is not retrieving the "Minimum Payment Due" from your Chase Prime Visa online bill, which is affecting how scheduled payments are displayed. Have you checked whether this issue is specific to Chase, or do other credit cards in your Quicken account also fail to show the minimum payment? When you refresh your online bills, does Quicken pull any updated data, or does it consistently exclude the minimum due?

Since you can see both the minimum payment and the interest-saving balance in your Chase account but not in Quicken, have you checked whether Chase provides those details through its online biller integration? Have you tried unlinking and re-adding the biller to see if Quicken pulls different data? Given that your actual payment is processed correctly but differs from the scheduled payment in Quicken, have you considered adjusting your payment schedule settings to reflect the expected minimum payment manually?

    Let me know!

Hi Jasmine, Good call. Two Chase account only show the statement balance after a refresh. Two other FI's show both minimum and statement balance, so it seems to be a Chase problem. Yes, I can see the correct data on the Chase web site, so I don't know why it doesn't update. I can live with the statement balance in most cases since that is what is paid. I've done the unlink and relink in the past but no not this time. I've had problems with Chase before. My Quicken is Windows Deluxe, R61.17, build 27,1,61,17. It's always something with these online billers.

    Hello @Earl Zier,

Thank you for providing more information.

The first thing that I would like to have you check is to see if you have the option to default to the minimum amount due with your Chase accounts in Quicken. You can do so by navigating to the Bills & Income Tab > Clicking the down arrow next to enter > "Default to minimum amount due" (see screenshots).

Please let me know what you find!

The Chase accounts do not have that option. The options are:

    Mark as paid

    Skip this one

    refresh bill

Unlink from "prime visa xx7532" or the other visa Freedom unlimited

    Delete biller

    Hello @Earl Zier,

    Thank you for confirming.

First, I suggest creating a test file and attempting to add the Chase Biller to see if the same issue occurs. This will confirm whether or not this issue is on the financial institution's side or Quicken's. To create a test file, navigate to File > New Quicken File… Please make sure to unlink your Chase Bill from your main file before proceeding. It is also recommended to save a backup (just in case).

Let me know how it goes!

Please let me know the results of the test file so we may continue troubleshooting if necessary!

    Thanks!

Jasmine, I believe I have already done as you suggested. Since I was having questions about my data file, I opened a new file starting on January 1st. I rebuilt my entire financial status with no residual data from previous years. Since I last checked in, I unlinked my Chase accounts, updated the reminders, delegated the Chase online billers, then relinked the reminders to the Chase online bills. One has zero balance, so it shows awaiting the next bill. The one which does not show the minimum payment I have unlinked and set the reminder to the correct amount. The online bill has been removed. That account will go to a zero balance shortly and will not be used in the future. The remaining Chase account show the last statement balance which is what is set up to pay at the Chase site. I can live with that. Thanks for your help.
