Investment account not showing transactions

I'm on Quicken Premier for Windows, R60.20, Build 27.2.6.0.20
I was manually entering investment transactions into an account. It asked if I wanted to save the current transaction. I said yes. For a minute, all the current transactions vanished and long list of Miscept transactions showed. I left the account and came back and now, although the account has a valid balance, there are NO transactions displayed. Looking through the Community, I found a help from 2018. The steps there, say to click on the account in the left account bar and click on Setting>Investment Tracking Method. When I click on the account I get some options, but there is no Settings and nothing references Investment tracking method. So I now have an account with no transactions. Help!

I finally called Quicken. After trying a couple of things that didn't work, they had me do a backup. Not a restore, but at the end of the backup, all the transactions were there. Then did a Validate which found one error which it corrected. Not really sure of the cause but it's fixed.

Since I wrote this, I went into the account list and found the Tracking Method, but it was already in the detailed format. The account currently displays NOTHING at all.
