Fidelity Downloads don't work.

I am using Quicken Version 8.0.1 (Build 800.56243.100). My MAC is running 15.3 (24D60). Before the about Jan. 27 I was able to download all transaction with my 13 Fidelity Investment accounts. Then for about 3 days no downloads would occur. Finally, I was able to download from Fidelity but only on Quicken Connect which basically gives balances only. I contacted support and they explained I can see the transactions by holding the option key and clicking on transactions. That's all well and good, but the downloads are incorrect on all actively managed accounts because the software adds a balance adjustment to"Reflect cash balance as downloaded". The problem with this is that it's not cash, but funds held in a money market account that are already listed as a holding in the account. I have four annuity accounts and they are perfect because they have no transactions, no cash, and no money market account. Please fix this!! It did not use to be this way.

Hello @DrBobJr2,
Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot this, please provide more information. Were you getting any error messages/codes when trying to download from Fidelity (prior to switching to Quicken Connect)? There was an issue right around the timeframe you mention (see the discussion linked below for more details on the issue).
If you were being impacted by that issue, then you should be able to reconnect by Direct Connect now. To reconnect, you would first want to backup your file, then deactivate your Fidelity accounts. Then, navigate to Accounts>Add Account… and search for Fidelity Investments. Make sure that you are choosing an option that allows Direct Connect, then follow the prompts.
Make sure to carefully re-link your accounts to the correct existing accounts in Quicken.
I look forward to your reply!

Thank you for your reply and the screenshot,
Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the financial institution is sending the money market information to Quicken as part of the cash balance.
To confirm if that is what is happening, I would need to check the logs. Please navigate to Help>Report a Problem and send a problem report with log files attached.
Thank you!

I have attached an example of one of my accounts. One shows the holdings in the account and lists cash as the last item. This number is obtained by adding the first two items in the account which are money market funds. The software adds both the money market funds and the cash number creating an error of $170,448.08.
The second attachment shows an account adjustment where this amount is added. I can edit this number but it reoccurs again when I update the account. This happens in all accounts when transactions involve receiving cash which is swept into the money market funds.
In essence, an update of the accounts creates marked errors in account values.

Thanks, for some reason I did not see your recommendation on Feb. 7. This solved the problem with quite a bit of work, but it was successful.
