Can't download Synchrony Walgreens Mastercard transactions

I am a Quicken for Mac user. Since March of 2024 I have been unable to download my Walgreens/Synchrony transactions. I have contacted both Quicken and Walgreens support and each blames the other party.
I have seen old discussions about this, but nothing seems to work.
Thank you

Hello @Richard Roll,
Thank you for coming to the Community to let us know you're encountering this issue. To assist with this issue, please provide more information. Was the account previously connected and working, or have you never been able to get it to connect? Which connection option(s) have you tried using? What is the exact URL (web address) that you use when logging into your account directly through the financial institution website? Do you see any error messages/codes when you attempt to connect? If not, then what is happening?
I look forward to your response!

Thank you for your response. It was updating through March of 2024. the URL that I use is Walgreens.syf.com. On that site I can find no way to export transactions. I have tried resetting up the account in Quicken (with the help of a Quicken support representative and none of the Synchrony bank options work (recognize my ID and password). I have never gotten any error messages. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your reply,
Do you recall which connection option you were using to update the account? Were there any changes around March 2024 that would have caused it to disconnect (such as a change to the financial institution servicing the account, an update/change to the financial institution website, etc)?
Based on the URL you provided, it looks like this is an account that is serviced by Synchrony, rather than directly issued by them. One thing that might work to get you connected is if you try using a connection option for one of the other credit cards serviced by Synchrony, such as CareCredit or Guitar Center.
To try this, first, please backup your Quicken file. Then, deactivate the problem account. Once the account is deactivated, navigate to Accounts>Add Account and search for another credit card serviced by Synchrony, such as Guitar Center.
Follow the prompts, and if it works, make sure to carefully link to the existing account in your Quicken file.
Please let me know how it goes!

Again, thank you for your reply. I do not recall the connection option that I originally used. I do not recall anything unusual happening at the end of March. As far as the connection options, I have tried all of them (including Guitar Center) and none of them worked with my sign on credentials - in fact I tried all of them while I was on the phone with a Quicken support rep.

Thank you for your reply,
I can see that when you spoke to Quicken Support, they recommended you speak to the financial institution about this issue. Have you contacted them about this? It is possible that they decided not to support a connection with Quicken for this type of credit card account.
Thank you!

I spoke to Synchrony support and it was hilarious. The person that I talked to said she was transferring me to one of their support people that could help me with this and she transferred me back to Quicken support.

Thank you for the follow-up,
Since Synchrony did not help with the issue, and you said the connection used to work, I'll forward the issue to the proper channels on our end for further investigation and resolution. Please navigate to Help > Report a problem and submit a problem report with log files attached and (if you are willing) a sanitized copy of your data file in order to contribute to the investigation.
While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.
We apologize for any inconvenience!
Thank you.
