Quicksilver/Capital One showing up as savings

I am trying to figure out why my Quicksilver card, no matter what I do, attempts to sync as a savings account, even though it is setup as a credit card. Any ideas? I have attempted to disconnect the account from sync on both ends, then add again, to no avail, so far.

    Hello @kookykrazee,

    Thanks for reaching out!

When you attempt to sync your Quicksilver card, does it immediately default to a savings account, or does this happen after linking? Have you checked whether the account type is being misclassified on the financial institution’s end or only within Quicken? When you disconnect and re-add the account, does Quicken give you an option to select the correct type, or does it automatically assign it? Also, is this issue affecting any other Capital One accounts you have linked?

Let us know more details, and we’ll be happy to help!

My Union Plus Capital One card works fine. The Quicksilver one, whether I do it brand new, use the current long standing account in quicken and connect or disconnect the setup credit card account, always has quicken only give the option of it being setup as a savings or checking account.

My Capital One Quicksilver card and a Capital One CD account both work fine using Capital One 360 as the Financial Institution Name.

Which of the several Capital One instances available are you using and/or have you already tried?
Do you have more than one Capital One account? If so, are you using the same FI Name for all of them?
