    Hello @Susan Fain Joiner,

    Thanks for reaching out!

By default, Quicken data and backup files are saved in the hidden Library folder. You can access this by following these steps:

    1. Open Finder.
    2. Hold down the Option (⌥) key on your keyboard.
    3. Click on the Go menu at the top of your screen.
    4. While still holding Option, select Library from the dropdown.
    5. Once the Library folder opens, you can release the Option key.

    From there, navigate to:
    Application Support > Quicken

Inside the Quicken folder, you should find four subfolders: Backups, Documents, Downloads, and Logs (or Log Files). If you have never changed the default location, all your backups will be saved in the Backups folder.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

An even quicker way to get to the backups folder is to click the File menu in Quicken, then Show Backups in Finder.

These backups are made specifically by Quicken if you either trigger one manually (File > Save a Backup…) or have them set to be saved automatically (File > Backup Settings…).

If you have another independent backup process (such as macOS Time Machine), then your Quicken file would normally be backed up by that process as well. To see where your Quicken data file is stored, click File > Show "filename" in Finder.
