Sub Category of Category List and Non-Profits

There are thousands of non-profit businesses. For those it is not appropriate for the sub category of the category list to show as Personal Income or Expense. I realize that can be changed by selecting a Tax Category, but these businesses are not taxed. It would be nice if you had a way to change the subcategory to Business without selecting a tax category that doesn't apply. Note non profits are required to have 100% transparency with the public, so anything that intimates Personal Income or Expense is unacceptable. Accuracy here is paramount.

Personal vs. Business is determined, in Q, by the Tax Line associated with the category and NOT, in any way, by the category name.

If you properly assign your tax categories, the issue will go away.

Perhaps it be profitable for Quicken to introduce a version of Quicken that is targeted at non-profits, but what parts of Quicken do you think would need to be visible to the public? Specific reports or more? For example most Spending reports do not have any reference to Personal.

Would it need to have Tax line items and special reports that match the non-profit's Form 990 tax filings?

There are certainly many small non-profits that use Quicken as it is.
