garbage characters displayed in reallocation (QW)

The Allocation Guide popup window that displays when you clicked that button in Investing> Allocation has some corrupt text.
I cropped the window to obscure the dollar values. The area immediately to the right of the highlighted part is the dollar value to be reallocated. That is seemingly correct. The first digit is immediately after the corrupted text, with no spaces between.
I've tried to fix it with validation and supervalidation but I think the problem is in the program code, not the data. I plan to uninstall and reinstall. Is there a way to be sure I remove all vestiges of the program before reinstalling with a newly-downloaded copy?

Edit: The corrupted window displays when you click the Rebalance Portfolio button, not Show Allocation Guide.

Just to double-check … Have you made sure that none of your investment accounts have any Placeholder Transactions in them?
If there are, do fix them (i.e., replace the placeholder with a correct transaction) and see if that resolves the issue.0 -
This is a known problem, and it doesn't have anything to do with Placeholders.

Just trying to cover all bases … one never knows where Murphy is hiding and why it works on some computers (e.g., mine) and not in others …

Thanks. I guess I'm stuck. Knowing that it's known, it's not a huge issue. My reallocation rules don't result in reallocating very often.
Because I was having other non-Quicken performance issues as well, I reset the PC and reinstalled the few apps I use regularly (MS365, Notepad++ and Quicken). Since I sync with OneDrive and Edge, it's not a huge undertaking to start over.
That did not resolve the problem. Being a known issue that happens inconsistently, that's not surprising.
I don't have any placeholders but do have a lot of future reminder transactions recorded in investment accounts, if that's relevant. I also have reminder transactions in bank registers that affect investment accounts but do not appear in those, in advance.
