Tax Planner

Tax Planner will not save my details for both other income and for withholding. Every time I open, details are either estimates or no projected. Not bills or payments. When I change and close, nothing is updated. I've done verify and super verify, no change

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. When did you first notice this issue? Are you setting up the Tax Planner for the first time, or was it previously set up and working, but now not saving your updates to your income and withholding information? In the details section, does it show that it's getting the numbers from user entered data, or Quicken Data from 2025?
You mentioned that every time you open, the details have reverted to estimates or no projected. To clarify, is that every time you open the Quicken program or every time you open the Tax Planner?

The Tax Planner will work correctly at times and not at others. Seems to go off the rails when there is an annuty cheque or Social Security cheque added

When did you first notice this behavior? When you say it goes off the rails, do you mean it's not saving your updates to income and withholding information, or are you observing other behaviors as well? In the details section, does it show that it's getting the numbers from user entered data, or Quicken Data from 2025?

SCalder, I have had problems with Tax Planner for years. This happens primarily with my monthly Social Security and pension deposits, both of which are split transactions with Medicare insurance for SS and withholding for the pension. Transactions which do not include a split appear to be reliable.
Key Question - Are you syncing with the Mobile/web/cloud versions of Quicken?
My problems greatly diminished, but did not completely end, when I stopped syncing my Q-desktop with the Q cloud data. To correct the Tax Planner errors, I've found the first step should be to Validate the file (occasionally this fixes all errors) and then manually correct errors in the "Other Income" and "Withholding" screens in Tax Planner. It will stay fixed until the next split deposit comes in.
